This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Epileptologist to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Facility: Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital
Schedule: Full Time
Productivity Incentives: RVU
Sign On Bonus: $30,000
CME Allowance: $4,000

Malpractice Coverage with Tail
Step into a well established partnership with a group consisting of a general neurologist, a neuro-hospitalist team and neuropsychologists in a well developed Epilepsy Center
Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Video EEG, EMU and virtual visits / Tele-epilepsy. Established surgical program and investigational medication trial program.
Access to Neurodiagnostic lab: EEG and long-term monitoring rooms. Support staff.
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Manage patient referrals and act as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, ensuring care aligns with the needs of the patient, medical staff, and hospital.
Apply appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills to evaluate and manage patient illnesses.
Coordinate discharge planning effectively with Case Management to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
